hi so i'm back on the forum again 🤪 😂 anyways i was making pattern #57958 and i think i make my base strings too short. is there any way to tie more strings in? i don't really want to start over 😅 thanks!

Hi! So when replacing a base string, i tape/clip another string right underneath the short one, and tie the next knot with both the short string and the new string really tightly. I do that for abt three rows, then leave out the too short one, and ill cut it out in a few rows. Hope this helped!

So, if you cut your base strings too short, you can always just make a bookmark! I’ve done it before. Happy knotting! 🙂
