So, i just started my first shaped bracelet. I have currently had to unpick it about 3 times. I know...terrible. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or anything to help me make a better-shaped bracelet. In a few days, I expect to have a photo up in case you want to see how my first attempt went.

That’s cool that you are trying it out! It’s a bit hard to give you tips because I’m not sure what the specific problem is. Could you clarify? One thing to keep in mind is that a shaped bracelet is basically just a bunch of triangle ends, so you should be at the point where you are making shaped starts for all your bracelets now. As with anything, it comes with practice. Good luck!

@zoeyllm Basically, i between when i start a new diamond shape, there is a hole in between the 2 diamonds. i don't know how to get the triangle ends tight enough.

Ah! I get what you mean now. Remember that the first half of the knot secures the entire knot. If the first part is loos then the entire knot will be. Work on tension and maybe practice with some string you need ti get rid of. But as I think I said earlier, it will come with practice.

I think what can help to avoid this hole between the individual diamonds is instead of for example ending the diamond with a b knot and starting the next with an f knot to do just one bf knot instead. This way the gap should be smaller.
