I want to make an alpha pattern that is a certain length. I want it to be long enough to cover the top part of my wrist, and to not wrap around all the way. Does anyone know how many rows of an alpha would equal one inch of length?

That depends on your tension. Get some spare thread and make a test swatch, then measure. Hope this helped.🙂

I use DMC and I tie my knots pretty tight and about 10-11 rows equals 1 inch for me. I hope this helped!

Try measuring some of your own bracelets, and maybe some different types of bracelets, so you can get a better sense of how it'll be for your bracelets. That's what I usually do! 🙂

For me it takes about 18 rows per inch! I figured it out!

Cool! I know for me each knot can range from 1 to 2 mm, depending.
