@sk8450 i looked at your photos and i think i see the problem. idk if you're using the straight edge technique but i recommend that. also make sure that when you're knotting the bracelet isn't being pulled a certain way. so if you have a clipboard that can help. you can also tape the bracelet down as it gets longer. so if you're like 10 rows in you could put a piece of tape over what you've knotted so that you can keep it still. also hopefully the person who made this doesn't mind that i answered this.

i am making an alpha and using the flat alpha technique and there is a color change on the edge and i am just wondering how to do it because if i did it normally the other color will stick out the edge so um how do i do it???

@fizzle you don’t do the flat alpha technique on the edges. The flat alpha technique on the edges actually makes the alpha more sloppy than without the flat alpha technique. Let me know if you have more questions about the flat alpha technique on the edges.

@ballerk23 can u tell me what pattern it is? If it’s an alpha u can see what u have so far and count the amount of knots of each color there is and find that in the pattern. If it’s a normal look at how ur strings are placed, look at which colors have crossed over each other. Find the row of the pattern with that order and u should be good 🙂
