I'm confused. If I follow the pattern, will it turn out the same in the pictures, or did everyone who posted a picture remove the technique?#41920 |

Some people for example @eden_s2006 seem to have made colour switches (you can make a colour switch in a normal pattern the same way you do in an alpha), others might have used colour changing string but in general the pattern should turn out like in the photos.

If you are talking about the straight edges technique you will still get a similar looking result if you don't do the straight edges technique and remove the edge string.
