Hi! I’m learning how to segment knot and was wondering if I could get some help figuring out how to segment knot 46522?

There are a lot of patterns you can’t segment knot, and I’m pretty sure this is one of them, but I could be wrong. I would just stick to knotting it regularly for now.

@sydneydani this pattern can actually be segment-knotted. Patterns that can't be segment-knotted mainly consists of fb and bf knots which this pattern rarely has.I think this pattern is a little complex to give a written out instruction on how to segment-knot it but I could set a picture of how I'd segment knot it as my profile picture. You could also try to figure it out yourself. To do this you can take a screenshot of the pattern and draw the segments into it. If you look closely, you can see that the overall structure of this pattern is actually quite similar to a double chevron. I think that's a good place to start.

Try to look for chevron, diamond or candy stripe shapes within the pattern and draw out the areas you are segmenting. I like to number mine too so I don’t get lost in the pattern
