Hi everyone! I've never made an alpha pattern with triangle ends before but I saw some photos of them and they look amazing! Does anyone have a tutorial or any tips about triangle ends on alphas? Thank you! ❤️

There are two techniques- you can either make a triangle end the same way you would for a normal pattern just using the base strings - or you can knot onto the base strings using your leading string. For this you group your base strings together in two groups (if the amount of base strings is uneven you leave one single string in the middle). In the first row you make 2 knots (3 if the amount of strings is uneven), one on each group. For the next row you take a string from the left group and one string from the right group and put them in the middle. Then you make knots on each individual group, 4 if the amount is even, 5 if it is uneven. And so on, each round you put one more string in the middle until you only have individual strings. |
