Adding Base Strings

Hello! I’ve been making alphas for a while and one of my biggest fears is running out of base string or cutting my base string too short. Is there any way to possibly fix this issue if I were to run out of string? (I hope this made sense) Have a good day! 😊

Yea u can add extra strings when it gets short or cut ur base strings really long before u start knotting.

Yes, you can just tape a new base string under your bracelet and knot over that

@oceanknot so if my base string breaks i can just tape a new one under it and just knot on the new one like nothing happened?

@Payton_7 Yes, that should work, but you just have to be careful. Make sure you leave enough extra string, and then tie it to the back when you’re done.
