Ok so u cut ur base strings depending on the dimensions. For example #59558 u would cut 23 base strings. U will knot over those and they will not be shown besides when u use them for ties. Then ur gonna get another color(leading string/background string) and start knotting on top of all the base strings. Whenever there is a coloradded into the bracelet that is not the leading string, you just tape it down next to the bracelet and start tying knots. And u just follow the pattern as shown. There are only forward knots and backward knots in alphas so they are pretty simple.
