I struggle to get my start straight when it comes to 1-2-1-2 patterns that have a picture pattern such as snowmen santa faces etc etc. These are the ones causes me issues right now. I can follow the pattern fine, the start just tends to go wrong for me. and cause pattern to end up wonky and out of shape.

Segment knotting I can do if the pattern follows a candy stripe variation or chevron style. Like fishbone chevron i can do easy where you have just a few rows that repeat them selves that i can do. just the move rows. guess i just need to keep going with the 1-2-1-2 patterns. and see how it goes.
