Alphas color with switches by or on ends

When i make alphas with only one knot of the backround string the previous string loops around the side.I'm not sure if you understand my description but does anybody know a video or tutorial to fix this problem.

When you’re switching colors on the end, don’t use the flat alpha technique. Just put the old leading string under the bracelet. I used to have this problem too, but now I just don’t use the flat alpha technique on the edges, you can still use the straight edge technique though.

You have to do a normal color switch on the edges instead of a flat alpha color switch. If you don’t understand Alex innovations has a tutorial on it otherwise just put the old leading string away and start using the new one if you switch on the edge
