hi! this is my first post in the forums so i hope this is in the right place, but i was very inspired by Ashlie’s different coloured end ties for pattern #13774 but i can’t figure out how to do it. anyone have any ideas?

She might have inserted new base strings as she got to the end, but idk. Most people do that when a base string gets too short, and the way you do that is by putting the old base string in the back, then taping a new string underneath and knotting with it. I think it is impossible to do all of them, so if that is how she made it she probably put the new base strings in gradually
