I accidentally cut my base string too short!

I am almost halfway through an alpha and I've been trying to ignore the fact that one of my base strings is less than two inches. I still have probably another two inches to knot! Is there an easy way to tie a new string to my base string as a replacement or a video that could help? 😭 😭 ALSO I've been working on this bracelet for so long to restart it!! HELP!!!

Maybe try and tie a knot on the back of the alpha or maybe just l or too of them rog

I have done this before but i warn u it is a slightly long process. Cut some more string and tape it to a surface where you need the base strings to be and tuck the short base strings behind your alpha. Somehow secure the short previous basestrings and start knotting on the new longer ones that you have taped down. If you do it as well as possible it makes the bracelet hardly look any different. Hope this helped!!!
