does anyone know methods to knotting alphas faster? i usually try and take alphas slow or else they’ll look messy. thanks ❤️

There aren’t really any methods to knot an alpha faster (at least to my knowledge) but the more you knot and the more experience you have with bracelets, the faster you can go. Sorry I couldn’t really help.

I feel like practicing and getting comfortable with the motions of knotting alphas is the key answer. While knotting alphas, I usually watch a show or listen to a podcast to pass the time, and that sometimes helps, maybe it could help you as well.

segment knotting makes the process a lot faster because you are counting each string as you go along snd you set the strings for each color aside and it also helps with not having to go back and untie knots that you accidentally did

I love making alphas personally. But lol I also struggle with making them quickly. I just make the knots that are all of the same color quickly as in making the first knot tight and then quickly sealing it in with the second like you would a normal but when you have to switch a color I just take my time and then when that first knot of the new color in the row is made you can just do the easy quick tight knots. I know it seems like it wont help but this has helped me get alphas done super quick. bye girly!!!

what i do is usually watch netflix (in my opoinon i try to be like i am gonna get 10 rows done in 17 minutes or something like that) i think it helps but dont rush sorry for the bad spelling y'all

There really isn’t a way to necessarily go faster with alpha bracelets just because of the patterns and them method used to make them, but overtime you’ll get a little faster with it but you’ll still take atleast 45 minutes or more to make them depending on the pattern.

sometimes putting the working string over , i like to take the base string and knot it over the working one in the same direction (backwards/forwards) but the trick is to pull it hard enough so you end up making a knot with the working one. I find that its less bulk to pull through, like one single short string instead of the whole thread ball. idk if i explained it enough hope this helps.
