So I am making a big tapestry that has tons of dark gray string, and I found the perfect color, and it’s called a “thread ball” and it has a lot of it so I guess it’s kinda just like a crochet thread rolled up on the thing lol. But I don’t know if it is too thick or too thin. I am going to set the pic of it as my pfp, so can someone tell me if you have used it before and if I can knot with it?

I’ve never used it before, but I think it’s too thin because people usually use size 5 cotton perle DMC

If you really want to make it and you don’t have any other choice that would make it even somewhat good, then maybe it would be okay to use a different thickness of thread. I really don’t know though

it might be to thin, but if it is to thin you could just try to use it. i have some crochet thread that is a random size( i have no idea what size it is, as i got it a garage sale) and it’s a little thinner than my string but when i know with it it’s a regular sized knot. It dosent seem to expensive so i would buy it and if it’s too thin you could try to use it or return it.(since it’s from amazon)

I actually found this place called 123stitch.com and I found the color I need that is just regular embroidery floss and it is $0.60 per skein, so I might be getting it from there, and I realized that It probably is too thin, so I will probably just get the embroidery floss 😄
