In alphas, do you cut your strings that you actually knot with kinda short and just add new ones in as you go along? Cuz I saw a vid on tips for knotting faster and it says to have your strings short and add them in as you are going along, but I don’t feel like adding in new strings all the time but for those who do, does it help because you don’t have to have the string in a bunch cuz it’s too big? Also, if I am using the flat alpha technique I will do the first half of the knot and then put the former leading string over the string I am knotting on but I put it under all of the other strings, will just putting it over then doing the second half of the knot then putting it under the bracelet make my bracelet look better? Also, if you have any alpha tips pls give them to me!

i just keep my string on the bobbin while i do alphas so i don't run out of thread or waste thread. for the flat alpha i pull the string i want to switch up, knot one half of the knot on the next string, take the string you were using before and put it on top of the half, then knot the other half, then take the string you were using before and put it under the other base strings. another tip is to be consistent with your knots when you're making an alpha. i have had a bunch of bracelets end up wonky because i rushed through them and didn't take my time with my knotting. just be patient and practice!

@ellap you should do a triangle end which masha knots on youtube has a tutorial on. she has two tutorials and one of them she is doing a moon bracelet while she is explaining, not a planet bracelet (u might not know what im talking about, but when u watch the tutorials u will understand) and that is the tutorial which is better and neater.
