I have tried an alpha bracelet three times (with my name) and the color used to create the letters keeps bunching up and looking odd. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

Let's imagine you want to write your name in black letter on a white background. When you do a black knot, don't pull the white string towards the bottom of your bracelet. Pull it to the right if you row goes from left to right, and to the left if the row is from right to left. Try to keep the same tension when you do black knots and when you do white knots. When you finish a row, you can flatten it with your fingers to start well the next row. |

When I make my bracelets, I always used a set of base string and two different colors for my actual pattern. Basically have a certain number of precut strings tied together with two different colors that I want to use for the pattern.does anyone else do this?I tried doing the way the alpha tutorial showed but my strings always come out looking too loose no matter how much their tied. Is there something I'm missing???? |
