can anyone explain to me how to attach the hanging strings to the dowel. I don't mean the base strings, but I mean the strings that you use to hand it on the wall

Oh ok well why I do is I fold my hanging strings in half and tie it onto one side of my wallhanging then I braid or twist it if I want and then I tie it on the other side of the dowel letting there be as much of the hanging string as I want.
