You could use the straight edges technique. Masha Knots has a great video on the flat alpha technique and she talks about straight edges there as well. knot tension!!! its just takes practice. uneven knot tension is what makes your bracelets not straight. even with the straight edges technique, your bracelets will be wonky with bad knot tension. just practice and your bracelets will straighten out with time. hope this helps.

On alphas you want to do backward forward knots on the base string all the way on the left and forward backward knots on the base string all the way to the right.

for alphas, i’ll do a backward forward know when i get to either of the outside (the first and last) strings, but for normal bracelets i try not to use the outside strings at all, i’ll just knot onto them 🌙🕸🍁
