Whenever i do an alpha bracelet with a picture it ends up looking slightly stretched out than the original mage

It happened to me too! You have 2 solutions:- Change the pattern to remove some lines so that it looks just like you want - when you make the bracelet, don't pull the string towards you to tighten it. If you're making a line from left to right, pull it to the right, and if you're doing a line from right to left, pull it to the left. Of course, you need to make sure that your knots are tight enough ๐ If you don't understand I can try to send you an illustration ^^ |

Working on your gauge is ultimately what will work long term for you. Practise finding where that not too tight not too loose point is that gives you a more round, even knot. Pulling too tight or too loose can cause this.
