Ok so what you need to know is that it will get thicker on the edge, you do a knot over the last string in the row first. Then you take the next string and go make a knot over both. Again but knotting over three strings this time until you finish

It will look like you just made a big knot to start a bracelet because all the strings will be clumped together at the end
