Hi, so I’ve watched Valentina Lenin’s tutorial for the bookmark hole/loop, and once if gets to the part for the actual hole, after the six strings get split into two groups of three, I’m completely lost. The subtitles make no sense and I can’t make out what she’s doing from the video. If anyone who has made the hole before, or understands what knots she’s doing. Could you please write the instructions out for me please, because I cannot comprehend what she’s doing whatsoever. And it’s probably really simple. Thanks. 😄

I just finished doing her tutorial and it was so confusing, but i got through it lol. If you still need help i can help. its kind of the same idea as triangle ends if that helps. start on the right side of the loop and take the first two strings closest to the center. tie a backward-forward knot. then take the third string and tie a backward-forward knot over the two other strings that you just did a knot with. next you take another (fourth) string and do a backward-forward knot over the three strings. Go to the left side and do the same thing but with forward-backward knots. now we are taking the string back into the center to meet up again. You essentially do the same thing back towards the center instead of out. If you want me to explain this part or explain the first part differently, or in more detail, then i totally can! |
