When I make a flat alpha with straight edges I don’t know what to do with the string right after a color switch on the edge of the bracelet. Do I not do the flat alpha and only the straight edge? Can someone please help. Thanks

to switch a color on the edge you grab your new color and do a knot on your last string, crossing OVER your previous string

I’m sorry, I don’t quite understand what you’re asking. Are you asking about the flat alpha technique, or are you asking about the straight edges technique? Or both?

Oh ok, yes, you still do the straight edges technique when you have a color switch on the edge

When you get to the left side of the alpha you do TWO backward forward knots and on the right side you do TWO forward backward knots. When I first did that technique I messed it up.
