@thildes It’s so that the mods won’t have as many patterns to go through in a day. Braceletbook has a lot of users, so if there was no limit then the mods would have way more work and patterns would take longer to be accepted

Maybe instead of patterns as a category, there can be categories for alpha and normal patterns!

When designing alphas, I would like to be able to add or remove rows in the middle of the pattern, not use on either end.

For pattern creations, I would like to be able to save a pattern I created to my own profile even i don’t want to submit it, or if it is denied by the moderators.The reason I want to be able to do this is not all patterns I make are necessarily something I think everyone would want. For example, if I make a pattern with my niece’s name on it, I’m guessing it’s not widely interesting to people, so I’d like to be able to save it for myself, without submitting to moderator. Additionally, I might like to be able to save a pattern that the moderator denied. For example, I submitted a pattern that was similar to another pattern, but not the same. The moderator denied it and suggested submitting it as a variation. However, I had changed the knotting pattern, so I couldn’t actually do it as a variation. However, the changes were subtle, so I can see why the pattern might be denied even though it is actually different. I want to be able to save this outside of my create patterns section, so I can use it, even though it’s not an approved pattern. |

One last suggestion- for creating patterns, reduce the sensitivity of the similar colors warning. Every time I use blue and purple together I get that warning, even though it’s very obvious (in my opinion) they are different colors.

@Kyraiskool They do have a variations tab on the website! If you scroll down the the very bottom right corner there are a bunch of links like to the blog, users, and variations! That way you can see all the recent variations similar to the patterns page.

@madeleine_ that’s true, but when I’m done with a pattern, I would like to be able to finish it and have it moved out of the “create patterns” section. I just want to have the patterns I’m actively working on in the create patterns section. It’s just a suggestion though. I can live with it the way it is. I just thought it would be nicer changed. I’m sure the devs have plenty going on.

@chkntaters ah I know about the current one. When i say tab I meant a bold section at the top. The current one is super tiny and I only juuust discovered it. I think there needs to be something like the patterns and forum tabs. Thanks for trying to help me out tho :^]

I think it would be helpful to have some options to undo stuff. For example, undoing a rating if you accidentally click the wrong amount of stars. This could also be fixed by adding a screen that asks if you're sure that's what you want to enter. This would be a helpful feature when adding photos as well. I've accidentally submitted the wrong photo several times because it immediately submits when I click a picture.

I know it would be hard to implement, but on one of the writing sites I use there's an activity section that's like making little tweets within the site. I think it really helps draw the community closer.
