i can’t figure out how to look a specific person up and send them a friend request

You cannot add friends as a beginner but you will be able to once you rank up to advanced. Also you can still accept friend requests and on the app here is a user option to search up different users

if someone sends you a friend request, then you will find under the “friends” option in the side bar if you are on the app. if you are on the website, you’ll see a little person icon with a 1 at the top. you click that and then you accept the friend request. to just look up users, on the app, you go to “users” and the sidebar and tap the two lines on the top right. from there you can filter by gender, rank, etc and you can type in a user name. on the website, you’d go to “users” on the very bottom of the page and from there you can filter out a person. also if you tap/click on a person’s username/profile pic in the chat, comments, or forum, it will take you to their profile on both the site and the app. on the website, if you get a notification from a user, you can just go to the person’s profile by clicking on the hyperlink of their name. but yes, like the person before me said, you cannot add friend requests yet as a beginner. you’ll have to wait until you are ranked advanced. hope that helps! 🙂
