So i am trying to make a normal bracelet and whenever i hit test and save it randomly adds a bunch of "a" to my letter box and it keep messing up my patterns. I can not find a way to fix it and was wondering if anyone else had this problem or if its just my computer

Its the "color order" box that keeps adding the letter "a" at the end of it. If i wanted the color order to be ACBDE, it would make it ABCDEAAAA.

Ok no I’m not entirely sure why this happens but I have made a few normal patterns and in my experience I think it has something to do with the number of string and there just has to be that many letters/colors, so if you don’t want the two a’s on the end, you can’t delete them, but you can move them in the sequence, or change them to a b,c or any other color that works better. Hope this makes sense! 🙂

so abcde has five strings. for an odd number of strings the number of knots you have to type in has to be the number of strings minus 1 divided by 2. 5 minus 1 equals 4 and 4 divided 2 is 2. so every row needs to have 2 knots. if you have an even number of knots it’s a little bit different. each odd row has to have half the amount of knots as there are strings; for each even row, it is half minus 1. so if you have 6 strings, there would be 3 knots in rows 1,3,5 etc and 2 knots in rows 2,4,6 etc. hope that helps! 🙂
