I clearly have a lot of time on my hands, I keep thinking of little site improvements.. o.OI'm sorry! I'm not taking over, honest! So anyway, I've been having a look at other member's profiles and I found a possible problem with rank progression. As in, our rank represents our skill level and enthusiasm of bracelet making but it may be possible that some users could abuse the system to gain the highest rank too quickly. I've seen a couple of members, who I won't name, who have hundreds of chat posts, pattern comments and pattern ratings but have not actually contributed anything of substantial worth to the site that entitles them a higher rank, yet they are ranked as 'Professional Bracelet Maker'. Obviously I don't know the content of their chat posts and pattern comments, so they may be helpful and enlightening but I can see how it would be very easy for someone to spam the chat to gain a high rank, which then spoils the chat function for others. Then again, I may be making a fuss over nothing 😛 |

Hi people 🙂 I have just tweaked ranks so the most valuable content for the community gives you the most 'rank points'. And made it even harder to become a 'Professional Bracelet Maker' 🙂 Note that current ranks won't be affected. Thank you Feniex for the idea 🙂

what do you consider "valuable content?" because i have a few pictures and patterns up and some comments (i like to think they're helpful but idk) and I haven't seen my rank change at all! or do i just need to be more patient?
