"BraceletBook stopped responding due to a long running script."Anyone else having this problem when trying to make or edit their patterns? Any advice on what I might be doing wrong and/or how to correct this problem? Thanks! |

I'm talking about the website, not the app.

Hi 🙂How often does this happen? Does the error persist once appeared, or does it happen once a while? |

The page appears, I click on an option to start my project and it freezes and stays that way. It happens every time and I have to shut the page down and reopen it. Once I can get to the pattern I work on it for a while, but it freezes when I try to save it. Sometimes I've lost my work. I'm using Windows 7 Professional with Internet Explorer.

We're now working on a huge update on our generators engine which should speed it up a lot, and also fix potential problems. I added this issue to our to-do list and will look into it as soon as the new engine is live.Thank you for reporting this issue 🙂 |

I just wanted to say that this happens to me every single time with editing and adding pattern. It's really frustrating but I'm exited for the update.

this only happens when im using internet explorer. never happened on firefox, it must just be because you're using a bad browser

"Bad browser"? Is that the technical term for it or just your opinion? Whether or not you use Internet Explorer or Firefox a page freeze shouldn't happen. I don't use Firefox, not because it's a "bad browser", but because I don't like it.

Internet Explorer might be your problem. Like lostincoma said, she only has issues when she opens this website with IE. If you don't like Firefox, download Google's Chrome browser. I only use Chrome and have NEVER had a problem opening any websites. The reason lostincoma calls IE a "bad browser" is because basically everyone who works on webpages says it is. It's clunky and doesn't support a lot of newer software plugins. Even the most recent version. I really recommend downloading a different browser.

Internet Explorer is not my problem because it doesn't freeze anywhere else. I won't make this an Internet Explorer verses Firefox debate. Incidentally, the last time I edited a pattern using my IE browser the freeze didn't happen, so maybe they fixed it.

Internet explorer is very problematic, on many pages. I think calling it a bad browser is just right 🙂 Its not optimised properly. Firefox is a lot better, i think that google chrome is the best though 🙂 Or safari if using a mac

Mozilla FireFox is MUCH better (just finished making a pattern, didn't freeze at all) 🙂
