Recommending string length

It would be super super helpful to have like an option that tells you how long each string approximately could be (like: from 80 to 100cm). I am so bad in estimating how much string I need. Wether I have 20cm too much or 20 cm too little. |

If you have trouble, then just do around 2 1/2-3 feet for a single string and 5 1/2-6 feet for doubled string! If you have scraps, you can use those in alphas!Also try trial and error with like pattern #1 or #2 I add 3-5 inches for triangle ends, 15-20 cm for loops, 3-4 invhes for ties. (This is all for one side) |

That’s nice. But it’s different for every pattern. I made a pattern where every string turned out at a different length in the end. It depends on how many knots are made with each string. It would also help if it was shown.
