Lately when I try to navigate the bb site while on my phone, I've been getting redirected to a scam site that claims that I'm Google's 5 billionth user or something along the lines of that. the site wants me to claim a prize, but it obviously doesn't exist. I'm not sure if this is a me problem or if bb's security isn't up to par.

You should message @Admin about this.

@halokiwi I just did. Since there are a lot of kids on here who might not realize that it's a scam, this should be looked into asap.

Did someone else also encounter this issue? I really don't think there possible could be an issue like this with braceletbook. You either must've clicked on an ad, or it could also be a virus or malware in your computer. You might want to get your pc checked 🙁.

@Admin that also happened to me. I just got redirected to a google cite and it said I was a winner of a drawing and I know I did not click on something because I was watching a show and bb was on my iPad and I just got sent somewhere

I don’t think it has to do with BraceletBook. I used to get the same message on my iPad randomly on any site a while back but it eventually stopped. It probably had some sort of virus or something.

Sometimes when scrolling there’s an add at the bottom of the screen on the app that I occasionally click on but never wait long enough to see what it was

This is more often than not an issue of malware on your device. However, it can

occasionally be an issue with the website, which should be looked into. I would clear cookies and other browsing data as well to be safe.

Thank you all guys for letting me know. It could also sometimes happen that such an intruding ad gets to the inventory of our ad provider for some reason, but they're usually pretty quick to catch and remove it 🙂. I will check with them.

I think it’s an issue with the site because I looked up how to make fudge piles (from Sam and cat sometimes I look up random things that I just think of 😅😅😂😂😂) and i saw the scam but then I went back and clicked on it again and it gave me the scam again and then some other time I looked it up, clicked on the same link, and the scam popped up AGAIN!! Ugh it’s so annoying 😤😤🙄🙄🙄
