I know people give 1 star ratings by accident. It happens all the time. But there are also people who give 1 star ratings on purpose. I'm specifically talking about one user I had an issue with. Two month ago they rated some of my patterns by 1 star. I talked to them and apparently they only rate patterns they really like or don't like. Today they rated three of my patterns with 1 star. Did anyone else make a similar experience? If you want you can message me the username so we can compare if it's the same user. I'm not sure if they are targeting me personally (the rated patterns aren't super new) or if it's a thing they do to everyone. How do you think I can stop this user? I think they won't be stopping since the last time I talked to them they didn't indicate that they would. I know that people have every right to rate a pattern however they want but I'm a strong believer that no pattern deserves just 1 star. |

I have not gotten 1 🌟 ratings, but some I have gotten a 3 star rating once. It wasn't that bad tho because I appreciated the feedback, tho getting 1 star ratings by the same person over and over does sound annoying. By the way, I think your patterns are great!!😊

yeah I agree, I wish there was a way to report people on here. someone straight up just stole my pattern, didn't even bother changing colors or anything and they got recognition for it, not me smh

@xojenz actually you can report users/patterns! message the administrator (@Admin) with your concerns and they will get back to you within a couple of days. i have done this many times and they are always very helpful!

@halokiwi Sorry that you're experiencing that. It really sucks and I can't imagine how upsetting it probably is. Your patterns tend to be really neat, I went through and rated a few 5 stars. Hope the issue gets solved soon! 🙂

It’s unnecessary to give it one star bc other people may like it and someone put a lot of effort into it sry about that this is a separate message I keep accidentally hitting send half way through

I agree with all of you. If you don't like a pattern, just ignore it. It is not necessary to rate with 1 star and make people feel bad about their patterns. It is a great suggestion 😉

not to mention, a one star rating isn’t even 50%... it’s basically 0%... which can totally drag down pattern ratings, and when people search for patterns based on rating, then that pattern won’t show up easily!

I think it’s okay to give a 1 star rating if you don’t like the pattern and just give some feedback on how to fix it but it isn’t necessary to do it if u do like a pattern but not the user!

@Tango27 I get what you are saying, but I don’t think that it’s okay to give a 1 star rating just because you don’t like the pattern, because they might have spent a lot of time on it and if you don’t like it, you can just skip over it instead of potentially discouraging others, but that’s my opinion😊

yeah @pinkis73 i agree! i think of it kind of like school grades, if that makes sense. if your teacher doesn’t like what you wrote about on an essay but it was written well, they can’t just give you a 0% on the assignment. that’s how i see it with patterns too 😊

i agree with @pinkis73. recently someone rated one of my patterns one star because they didn’t know how to start the pattern... it was one of my recent shaped patterns and i thought it was disrespectful that the user rated it one star when all they needed to do was learn how to make the bracelet or just skip over it. not knowing how to start a pattern that may look a little different from others, to me, is not a reason to rate it 1 star.

I accidentally rated someone's pattern 1 star and I meant to do 5 and I felt really bad so I commented that I was sorry, messaged the creator, and rated his/her 2 lowest patterns 5 stars to make up for it

@arf820 same thing happened to me. Someone rated one of my pattern 3 stars because it was too hard for them. (I have talked to the person that's how I know).
