I think that in the new update when a new pattern comes on to the site there should be a date/time when it came on cause then u would know when it came out an If I the new patterns were recently added or if they've been on for a while cause it also bothers me when I see a new pattern and don't know if It was just added or if a new pattern will come on soon!
