How do I put a link in places?

So I've been seeing people put links to profiles, patterns and more in messages and forms. How do I do that? 🤔 ❤️

to link to a pattern put a hashtag in front (example: #26521) and to link to a profile/person put an at sign in front (example: @LocoEva)
