I think that the patterns should have a symbol on it when it's already in your TODO list. Just an idea.

You can tell they are already added to your todo list because there is no little check (on the app there are checks to add i dont know about on the site) that would normally let you add it to your todo list

Oh, I don't use the phone app, but on the site they all have checks.
