Tikilishi Moderator	4 years, 8 months ago by Tikilishi I feel like it would be super cool to have a separate feed to see all of our friends' latest patterns, variations, and photo uploads all in one place 😊 What I love most about BraceletBook is how much this site encourages people to make friends, ask questions, and socialize! I think having a friend feed would enhance the social aspect even more 😊 Not only would it be useful to see people we frequently talk to and their new stuff all in one place, I feel like it would also encourage people to use the site more often because their patterns, variations, and bracelets would be seen by friends more easily and more frequently that way 🙂 Plus, when you start to accumulate a lot of friends, it's a bit more tedious to individually click on everyone to see what they've been making lately. I think it would be more convenient if there was a separate feed for that 🙂 I don't know anything about web design though, so I have no idea how difficult that would be to set up lol. And I certainly wouldn't want the friend feed to replace the main pattern feeds, because I love looking at everyone's patterns lol. What do you think?

Tikilishi Moderator	4 years, 8 months ago by Tikilishi So kind of like how on Facebook, you have a feed that you can scroll though and see your friend's most recent status updates, pictures, etc. But for BraceletBook it would be friends' most recent patterns, variations, and photos all in once feed. To look at 50 friends' profiles, I would have to click, wait for the page to load, view their profile, then click out of it to view my friend list again, for all 50 friends. Since I don't have the app (android) I feel like it takes much longer to do it this way. If there was a tab that I could click on that had friends' most recent things in a row, and I could just scroll, like and comment, it would be a lot faster and I think people might communicate even more together because of it 🙂 I also feel like I miss a lot of what friends post when I'm looking at the main page. I often come across a pattern/variation/photo and not realize it's one of my friends because the font of their user name is very small on mobile lol. @Shelley2121

But I think there should be a difference between mutual follows and one sided follows because I don't necessarily want to see what some of the current friends I have on here did because I didn't accept their friend request for that reason. What I'm saying is I would have picked friends in a different way. I think it's a great idea.

Tikilishi Moderator	4 years, 8 months ago by Tikilishi Thank you all for your feedback! @halokiwi @Shelly2121 @amaze I think at the fast rate the BraceletBook community is growing, I think in the future there will be even more patterns/variations/photos going up at once at an even quicker rate, and that's amazing that it's growing so fast! It's just a bit tough to keep track of what friends are making! I think a friend feed would be a great help for that.

Either way, just a suggestion of mine 🙂 judging by the other things in this forum, I feel like Admin's To-do list is already a mile long lol. But thank you everybody for the feedback 😊
Admin Administrator	4 years, 7 months ago by Admin Yes, I really have to agree here that my todo list is very long 😄, but we're definitely keeping track of the tasks, assigning priorities and implementing the features 🙂. This is something I'm thinking about for a while already. It will be a bit difficult, mainly because we will have to rethink some parts of the design a bit, but I think the added value would be great 🙂.

With aspects such as the monthly and weekly challenges, variations, and the chat - it really puts the "friendship" part into friendship bracelets 😊 And I really admire how open you are to suggestions and ideas 😊 I look forward to seeing what you implement next ☺

Users always know best what they'd like to have on the site, and what features we're missing 🙂. So it really is a great indicator for me when deciding what to do next 🙂.
