I know the random bracelet challenge is a trending thing right now and I was curious if anyone else is interested in this becoming a thing on the site ? A randomize option or something ? It seems it could be super neat n fun !

That's a great idea. You'd only get patterns that actually exist if there was a randomizer on the page and maybe you could even filter if you want a normal or alpha pattern.

This is a wonderful idea! What you could do for now is put pattern numbers into an online generator and randomly generate one🙂

That’s a great idea! I also think that if in general there was a way to randomly sort patterns, so that random patterns in the middle pages of bracelet book could be accessed easier 😊

I have a randomization idea. It's not as straightforward as a Randomize button but close enough. Use the search filters if you're only interested in Alphas or Normal patterns, or want a pattern with more than 3 colors, a pattern that has a certain number of strings or a pattern that has never been done etc.. Use a random number generator to pick a number between 1 and the number of result pages, say you get 50. Go to Page 50 then pick another number between 1 and 30 (or however many patterns you see on that page). Say you get 3. Your random pattern would be the third pattern you see on Page 50. This method guarantees that the pattern exists and it's something you're interested in making |
