I think it would be cool for a beginner (like me) to have an opinion to check off rows in alphas because its the worst when i get up for water and i come back and forget what row i am on🙄

My recommendation: take a screenshot of the pattern and open it in a photo editor. This way you can tick your rows off. You could also print the pattern out.

I usually print the pattern out and use a bobby pin to mark my row if I get up so I don't forget, or sometimes I bring the pattern up on my phone if it is tall and thin enough and scroll down when I am done with a row.
