I am super confused with this two patterns that i found: #10658 #631 because some variations are more big that the original pattern or are horizontal or vertical 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔

Alpha variantions can include multiple repeats of the pattern. To create those variations, you need to create them from scratch. You can't use "add a variation". The generator recognises these variations automatically.
