Is it possible to only temporarily suspended? For safety reasons (family-related stuff) I don't want anyone to have access to my messages until I'm safe. Is there a way to temporarily ban/suspend my account if I request?

I'm not sure that we do temporary deactivations/banning of accounts, but I will check with @sjuu. 👍

I am not sure what exactly happens with banned accounts, if you can still access your messages when an account is banned or not. Usually we don't do temporary bans. Maybe you could change the password to your account, if you are worried that someone has access to your account. |

I checked it with a banned account and I didn't press the "send" button but it let me write a message... maybe you can put in your bio at the beginning very big and in capital letters something like DON'T WRITE TO ME or something like that 🙂

So you don't want your mom to be able to access this account? I believe that you can change the email address of your account. This way she would have no access to it. |
