I adjusted a pattern to the notification that needs for it to be acceptable but it’s not submitting. I read the adjustments over and over and went over the patter. Looking for any smaller adjustments. Then I click the submit bottom and it ping back as if it’s being block or is on lock. What should I do?

Are there any warnings (colourful box on top) left?

What does the current warning say?

Does it disappear if you click save and test?

It’s saying to consider using lighter and distinctive colors, make the pattern grid clearly visible. Thats is green highlight. Then theirs another saying don’t use dark colors and similar color in you pattern.

On which page of the generator where you when you made the changes? You always need to click "save" somewhere to apply the changes. If you have for example been in "interactive normal" or "draw alpha" and went back to the first page of the generator without saving your changes previously, your changes won't save. You got to make your changes, save them and then switch to a different page of the generator.

To be able to submit the pattern you need to fix the yellow warning. The green warning can stay but makes it likely for the pattern to be declined. So I would recommend fixing it as well.

What is an umbra effect?

It’s when color transitions from light to dark or dark to light normally it’s one color but I have a few it goes from dark blue to blue then to white then to light purple to dark purple.

Umbra means there is a shadow in your pattern?

Sometimes for shading similar colours are needed. If the warning is yellow, you definitely need to fix it in order to submit it. If the warning is green and you are unsure about it, I would recommend submitting it. Then a moderator can give you feedback on if the colours are too similar or maybe too dark.

Sorry, was too slow writing.

Is there a yellow warning left? If yes, you need to fix it. Are you able to fix it? (Don't forget to click save BEFORE switching between pages!)

Are there only green warnings? If yes, submit the pattern. It might be alright as it is. The generator is overly sensitive with its warnings regarding blue and purple.

If I change the dark blue or color and lighten it up then skip a shade of the same color; like if it’s dark red, changed it to red and then go to pink then light pink. Would that be too similar?

You need to experiment with the colours. Make slight changes. Then click "save and test" to see, if the yellow warnings have disappeared. In which direction you change the colours doesn't matter. Just experiment and figure out what works for you. There is not a solution that will always work.

If there are only green warnings regarding blue being too similar to purple feel free to submit it. The generator is a bit too sensitive regarding blue and purple.

If you want, I can take a look at your colours. Just tell me the colour codes of the colours that are currently too similar and potentially also the other colours used, if there are not too many.
