bigger photo upload allowance when trying to make a pattern from a photo.

It would be nice to be able to upload a photo to the site to be converted into a pattern without having to reduce my image roughly 10x before finally getting it to the right size.

When using "alpha from image", the generator "reduces" your picture into a smaller image anyways (200x200 pixels max). The resolution of the starting image does not need to be very high to do that. Bigger images would mean more storage needed. I don't think the images used in "alpha from image" would make a big difference for that, but it is definitely a point at which storage can be saved. |
