How in the heckity heck does the Hottest patterns page work

Ok so one of my goals has been to get on the Hottest patterns page, and a pattern that got approved this morning already has 3 hearts and 4 ratings of 100% yippee!So I check the hottest patterns page and its not on there, well ok there are probably more popular patterns Here are some of the patterns I found: Older then mine 3 hearts and 3 100 ratings ok so mine is more popular ig Slightly younger 3 hearts and 1 100 rating and 3 variations ok probably about even with mine Quite a bit older 2 hearts and 2 100 ratings ok so mine is supposedly more trending Slightly older 1 heart and 1 100 rating and 1 variation ok so mine is more trending So if mine is more or equal trending/popular then all of these then how come they are on the Hottest Patterns page and mine isn't? How in the heckity heck does this page work -a slightly salty, very confused person whose goals feel strangely out of reach 😢 |

It's interaction in general. Maybe people looked at the pattern. Maybe they even left comments. The rating does not need to be positive to be a hottest pattern btw. Negative attention is also attention 😉
