When I’m making patterns on my phone ,because of the pop ups I might click something, maybe my phone dies or something, the page might refresh and I lose all of the work I’ve done and I have to redo all of it. I think it would be helpful if it saved automatically instead of having to click a button. Thankfully I’ve only had this issue 2 or 3 times but I thought it was worth mentioning as a suggestion.

This is a great idea, but it becomes a problem when you want to work on a pattern but you accidentally make a change that ruins the whole pattern and it auto saves and you can't undo. Otherwise, yes, we need some kind of auto checkpoint!

I recommend saving regularly. This way you can save the pattern at the exact point you want to and if you are unhappy at some point and want to go back to your previous save point, you can just refresh.
