i just came up with this little list of ideas for the website... maybe you’ll agree with them or not, i don’t know
i know that it is pretty hard to maintain such website already but maybe little changes can be done?
generator (most of them are for alphas)
1) buttons like “undo” and “redo” for alpha drawing. i get really angry when i accidentally fill an area with the color i didn’t want to, or filling a knot with a peculiar color and having to recreate it again.
2) the ability to delete colors without having to eliminate them on the pattern. just an action of deleting a color and it getting changed to white, or to the first color
3) changing the number of rows by typing the quantity. my fingers get sore when i have to click the plus and minus to get my pattern to by 50x50
4) two stages for picture to alpha. i don’t understand what is wrong with the color system, but in one pattern i got something like 24 hues of pale yellow and only one hue of blue. maybe the ability to somehow preview it, to pick colors manually, something like that?
5) this is purely an idea because i don’t know how can it be done. when something like in 4) happens, you can merge two colors? every dot on the patterns that belongs to those specific 2 colors become one of them, and the number of hues decreases. this could be quite helpful while making alphas

the site
1) maybe adding a section with pattern compilations? “blue patterns”, “patterns for multicolored string”, “patterns for metallic string”, “space patterns” it would be very helpful, i think!

Yes, exactly as you say, there's a TON of things we have planned for the future, but the time plays a bit against us 🙁. We have a prioritised list of tasks we're constantly working on in our free time, and doing our best to deliver the features, optimisations and tweaks to all of you as soon as possible 🙂.

1. That has already been requested by a lot of our users, and it's actually pretty high in our list of tasks already 🙂.
2. Yes, I have to totally agree with you on that. Currently it's pretty hard to get rid of a colour from a pattern. The easiest way is to delete all the references of the colour in the 'draw alpha' generator. So it's a good idea, I'm adding this immediately to our to-dos.
3. 👍also adding to our todos 🙂
4 and 5. I'm not sure if we'll be implementing a two-stage 'alpha from image' generator, but we're definitely planning on making the colour estimation a lot more accurate. I think that will also help a lot with the problem you're having in most of the cases.

1. That has been requested by 1 of our users until now, and I'm not sure if the demand will be high enough. It's in our todos, but has a pretty low priority currently.
