Photo capability for forum

I am sure this has been covered (hit me with the eyerolls) but why doesn’t the forum have photo capability? Is it something that could be added? It would make such a richer experience.

I think, if photos where added in the forum, they would need to be reviewed before they appear in the forum. Currently forum messages are reviewed after they are posted.

No, but it would be time consuming and it would change the dynamic of the forum, because (some) posts wouldn't be published in real time anymore.We would also have to set up rules for posting photos and/or limit them to certain sections, so that there isn't an overwhelming amount of photos. I for example wouldn't allow photos in community because imagine one of the games that are played there nowadays like the one word stories or the word chains but with photos instead. The amount of photos would get very high very fast. But in other sections like newbies or requests, I think photos could be very useful, because you could share reference images more easily and show where your problems are. |
