Pattern numbers?

Why is it that there is a bracelet pattern #1 and #2 but no #3? It skips the whole way to #6. It seems to do that a lot with older patterns but with newer patterns it doesn’t skip numbers. Why is that?

I'm not 100% sure but I think that's because some of the patterns have been deleted for different reasons over time, that's why there are numbers missing.Hope this could help! |

Patterns disappear if the creator requests it to be removed or if it is a duplicate.
