I think somebody already mentioned this first one, but it would be awesome if there was a way to tell when members are online. Like the "green dot" method. If a person is currently logged into the site, a green dot appears next to their username, and other members know that user is available for messaging or chat.But I also think something like a New Members Spotlight would be a great idea! I really love the ranking system you guys have in place right now, but I don't know if there's a place where new users can be introduced to the community. Maybe at the end of the week, there can be an updated list of all the new members that joined that week. That way, existing members of the site can see who's just arriving here and take the opportunity to introduce themselves! I used to be a part of an online poetry community that had a Meet New Members/New Member Spotlight and it REALLY added to the feeling of community. Especially when a newbie gets a welcome note from a well-respected member. |

That's great! I felt kind of intimidated when I started here, but once I introduced myself I found more friends!

We are planning on the whole web remake in the near future 🙂 And there will definitely be an online status 🙂 The other idea is also great 🙂 We will think about it 🙂
