is it an idea to have a search bar for the forum topics? for example I occasionally see people posting a forum topic for patterns for gradient yarn? but it would be very useful if you can look up any previously made forum topics about gradient yarn.

I love that idea! It would make it a lot easier to find answers to questions and would keep the community cleaner.
