Daily limit to variations?

I've been doing pride patterns, and yesterday I was able to add 15 variations for the different flags. Today it said I hit the limit after 8 variations.Does anyone know how the daily limit works? Is it for a set 24hr cycle or every rolling 24hrs? |

It's a set twenty-four hour circle. Not sure when it starts. It counts the amount of times you click ''add a variation'', so to avoid hitting the limit, if you know you want to submit variations of your own patterns, copy and paste the knotting structure to a new pattern before submitting the original pattern and use that to submit variations. The generator will still recognise the variations.
