I don't know what brand of thread the website gives out the numbers for when you create your own pattern.

Do you mean the color codes? Sort of like #ff4400 for the default reddish-orange that a pattern starts with? Those are HTML color codes, not for a specific brand of string. 🙂

Little correction: those are hex codes, but apart from that the previous reply is correct. It's not for a specific brand, but you can find charts online that tell you which string from a certain brand looks like a specific hex colour.
